Yea, I haven’t seen anything about Alpina making any hvac changes, so I’m sure it’s the regular 5 series system.

and if its ‘88 its probably still the old r12 system. don’t know what its like in the eu, but i think r12 has been regulated off the shelves, and all new cars must have r134 and older cars must be upgraded (or something like that).

anyway, i had my system upgraded last summer in a 91 jaguar. works great. any AC specialist could handle the change.
